Defas Film Productions is a Toronto-based production company specializing in multi-camera concert coverage and live event filmmaking. We capture performances and high-pressure moments with cinema-line equipment, professional audio workflows, and dynamic camera
movement—delivering clean, story-driven edits built for YouTube, social, broadcast, and archive.
Our team provides end-to-end production: planning and shot design, camera operation, lighting/gaffing, on-location sound and audio capture, and post-production editing. In addition to concerts, we produce awards shows, corporate and community events, documentaries,
interviews, short films, PSAs, and sporting events—scaling crews and gear to match the venue, schedule, and deliverables.
Founded by Leonardo G. Peralta (writer/director/producer), Defas Film Productions also
supports the next generation of talent by creating on-set opportunities for film students to gain
real-world experience under professional workflows
